Here at Healthy Spirits we’ve been on a mission lately to bring you some of the rarest and best Bourbons in the world. Bourbon is a unique spirit which is recognized as a distinctly American product,
Without further ado here’s some of the new Bourbons we just recieved:
George T. Stagg 16yr -An extremely hearty whiskey. Stagg is bottled at barrel proof and unfiltered. Powerful and intense with notes of toffee, molasses, vanilla and coffee.
William Larue Weller 11yr – Wheated Bourbon bottled at Barrel Proof and unfiltered. Nose of pepper, oak, caramel corn, leather, plum and pipe tobacco. Flavors are astoundingly rich with honey, marshmallows, sauteed almonds, nougat, figs and dates .
Eagle Rare 17yr – Recently recieved 96 pts from Wine Enthusiast. An amazingly smooth combination of molasses, leather, vanilla, violet and toffee.
Thomas H. Handy 7yr
Sazerac 18yr
Can we do some shots already? Anyway most of these are extremely limited quantities, so get em while you can, or before I drink them. I also have a couple Pappy Van Winkle 23yr left in addition to some other great single barrel Bourbons you can find on our new Bourbon Menu:

Yar! Captian Bourbon (Nate)
It’s time to pull out your cigars, snifters, sit in a nice comfortable chair by the fire, and read your leather bound books. If you haven’t guessed what I’m hinting at yet, Pappy Van Winkle 23yr Bourbon is back in stock at Healthy Spirits. Its extremely small production and is the number one rated Bourbon in the world. If that wasn’t enough we also received a small amount of the Sazerac 6yr Rye Whiskey. Combine the rye with Peychauds Bitters and Absinthe and you have the original Sazerac cocktail. We have extremely limited quantities of both so come into the store or call to reserve a bottle today.

Nate (Your bespoken bouron buyer)
We usually reserve the blog for posts about beer, but when you get your hands on the number 1 rated Bourbon in the world, I think we can make an exception.
The Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery is renowned the world over for there extremely limited production Bourbons and Rye Whiskeys. Their Bourbons in particular are noted for using wheat in the mash, as opposed to rye, which allows for a smoother, slightly sweeter Bourbon that ages more gracefully. I would highly recommend buying the 12yr, 15yr or 20yr on sight at any retail store that is lucky enough to have them.
Healthy Spirits has been fortunate enough to receive 2 bottles of the 23yr Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve, the rarest of the bunch, which received an inconceivable 99 out of 100 from both the Beverage Tasting Institute and the World’s Spirit Championships. Not to mention numerous other awards and accolades. Again we only received 2 bottles, so first come first serve. You can reserve a bottle by calling the store at: 415-255-0610, Cheers
