A lot of new releases coming our way, gotta love the holiday season. This is Anchor’s new white whiskey distilled from 2012 Anchor Christmas Ale. This tastes a lot like the base beer with notes of fruitcake, cinnamon and nutmeg, pine needles, custard, vanilla and other baking spices. One of the most unique spirits I’ve ever had, and definitely the best white whiskey. It’s amazing just sipping on its own but I have to think it will have some super unique cocktail applications once mixologists get their hands on it. There seems to be a lot of interest in this, and it’s a one time release, so get it while you can. Cheers
